A new recipe for me: credit to 5-minute brewery for the base recipe (whole grain).

This is a partial mash adaption.

Recipe:

  • 4.8 Gallons of Carbon Filtered Water

Water additions:
– 2.9g Calcium Chloride
– 2.8g Epsom Salt
– 3.0g Gypsum

  • 4 lbs 8oz Heidelberg Malt (63.2 %)
  • 2 lbs 10oz Flaked Rice (36.8 %)
  • 1 oz Moutere Hops (18%)
  • Yeast: Imperial L28 Urkel (no starter needed)

Mash 149 deg F for 60 minutes.
Stir often to prevent rice from sticking together.
Add some FermCap-S (foam inhibitor).

Hops:
@ 60 minutes: 0.13 oz
@ 10 minutes: 0.15 oz
@ 1 minute: 0.50 oz

Cool to 50-60 deg F, then pitch yeast.
